CMDB Design and Architecture:

➢ Lead the design and architecture of the new CMDB, ensuring it meets the organization's requirements for efficient ITSM processes.
➢ Define the structure and relationships between Configuration Items (CIs) to support impact analysis, root cause analysis, and change management.
Data Ingestion Strategies:
➢ Develop strategies for automated data ingestion from technical assets using Device42 and manual data ingestion for creating customers, functional services, and mapping relationships.
Vendor Tool Integration:
➢ Utilize tools such as Victoria Metrics, Azure Monitor, and Loki for extracting asset information to create and manage CIs within the CMDB.

Documentation and Training:

➢ Document the CMDB design, architecture, and data ingestion processes.
➢ Provide training sessions for the development team and other stakeholders.

Technical skills

➢ CMDB – Expert - Required
➢ Automated data ingestion tools - Expert - Required
➢ Victoria Metrics, Azure Monitor, and Loki - Expert - Required
➢ Device42 - Proficient – Important.
