Job description

Akkodis is looking for a Logistics Engineer to join its consulting team and support key logistics and supply chain projects within a leading industrial environment.


🎯 The Assignment

We are looking for a Logistics Engineer to join an international industrial environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics operations within the Supply Chain organization.


In this role, you will act as a key support for operational logistics teams by optimizing processes, improving physical and ERP flows, and driving improvement initiatives across the logistics function.


Your main responsibilities will include:

• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across inbound, warehouse, packaging, transportation, and logistics administration activities.

• Following up on actions identified during daily operational reviews and ensuring timely closure of open points.

• Supporting and implementing EHS-related action plans.

• Participating in internal and external audits involving logistics activities.

• Leading projects related to new logistics tools, processes, and flow implementation.

• Facilitating problem-solving workshops (8D methodology) and implementing corrective actions.

• Supporting the development of logistics specifications for projects.

• Providing operational support through a strong understanding of physical and ERP logistics flows.

• Creating and maintaining procedures and work instructions.

• Developing analyses, reports, and tools to support logistics teams and supervisors.

• Conducting workplace assessments to ensure compliance with logistics best practices.

• Contributing to global logistics improvement initiatives by sharing knowledge and best practices across international sites.

👤 Who are you?

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, and you are passionate about optimizing processes and driving continuous improvement in an industrial environment.

 
Your skills

• Good knowledge of ERP systems and integrated management tools.

• Professional proficiency with the MS Office Suite.

• Knowledge of Lean Management and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Understanding of inventory management processes and tools.

• Familiarity with structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D.

• Professional level of English (B2 or higher).
