About the role

As part of the development of our activities for a major industrial player in the defence and high-technology sector, we are looking for an Industrial Project Manager.

In a context of rapid industrial growth, you will lead development projects involving the implementation of new industrial capacities and capabilities, or the reinforcement of existing ones. You will coordinate internal departments and subcontractors to deliver industrial solutions on time, at the required quality level and within budget.

The responsibilities

Lead the project preparation phase and refine operational needs.
Build the project team and define the Work Breakdown Structure and associated Organization Breakdown Structure across Procurement, Production, Supply Chain, Quality and Engineering.
Provide technical expertise and leadership to team members.
Schedule and plan the project.
Manage the project and remain accountable to the different stakeholders during kick-off and follow-up meetings.
Manage risks and opportunities, perform the necessary trade-offs and adjust the project trajectory.
Monitor project execution and improve efficiency in terms of quality, time and cost.
Anticipate procurement activities and coordinate subcontractors to ensure project continuity.
Provide local support to subcontractors and respond to their questions and concerns.
Ensure on-site safety and compliance with applicable security rules.
Report project progress to the management team.

The requirements

Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial engineering.
Previous experience as a Project Manager.
A safety certificate for operational supervisors, such as VCA, is an asset.
Autonomous, rigorous, pragmatic and business-oriented approach.
Good understanding of operational needs and willingness to address them.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical document writing.
Ability to work in matrix teams and a genuine team-player mindset.
Curiosity, a continuous-improvement mindset and the ability to bring new ideas and skills to day-to-day work.
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
Willingness to travel.
