With a view to strengthening our team, we are looking for a:

Transformation Manager & Head of Digital Product Engineering Unit

Activities:

• Lead a transversal engineering unit focused on Mechanical Design, Mechanical Analysis (simulation, FEM, CFD, etc.), and Embedded & Systems Engineering;

• Manage a team of 20 engineers in coordination and synergy with Delivery Managers;

• Ensure and drive business growth delivery performance, and profitability (P&L) of the unit;

• Transformation Mandate: Proactively identify, structure and drive operational and organizational transformation opportunities across Akkodis Italy, going beyond the mere execution of predefined programs;

• Actively collaborate with different Business Units to improve delivery maturity and strengthen cross-functional capabilities;

• Scale and implement more structured and industrialized service models (e.g., evolution towards Managed Services) and develop transversal capabilities (e.g., Competence Centers).

The ideal candidate is a senior leader with a highly hybrid profile, able to operate with different business, delivery, and organizational transformation. The candidate must possess the necessary credibility to lead complex engineering teams while simultaneously influencing senior stakeholders and business leaders within the organization. They have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a pragmatic approach, focused on turning strategies into tangible results.

Completing the profile:

• Ability to exercise leadership and influence even without direct authority within complex matrix organizational environments;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with both technical teams and company leadership (Sales and Director);

• Strong business orientation and strategic mindset combined with solid credibility on the delivery side;

• Proactivity, autonomy, and the ability to identify and drive change by structuring innovative solutions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electronic, Telecommunications, or related fields);

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in engineering services companies, technical consulting, or structured industrial environments with strong exposure to delivery;

• Proven track record in managing teams and business units (direct P&L management will be considered a strong plus);

• Demonstrable successful background in organizational transformation projects, evolution of delivery models, or operational improvement;

• Excellent proficiency in both Italian and English (spoken and written).

Nice To Have:

Master in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent post-graduate degrees.
