Assignments
We are looking for a Powertrain Simulation & Structural Dynamics Engineer to join one of our automotive clients at their R&D team.
You will be embedded in the Powertrain Digital department, working on the modelling and simulation of electrified propulsion systems.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Developing and running Finite Element (FE) models for powertrain and e-drivetrain systems
- Conducting NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) and durability analyses
- Performing modal testing and supporting physical validation campaigns
- Ensuring simulation/measurement correlation to improve model accuracy
- Contributing to the development of numerical calculation tools
Background
You hold a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent by experience.
Must Have
Proven experience in numerical simulation (finite elements, structural dynamics)
Knowledge of powertrain or e-drivetrain systems
Strong analytical mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
Autonomy and rigour in managing technical deliverables
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Nice to Have
Driving licence (Category B)
Experience in an automotive or R&D environment
