With a view to strengthening our team, we are looking for a:
Construction Mechanical Superintendent
We’re talking about the expansion (new production units as well as the upgrading of some already existing ones) of a refinery for a new Delayed Coking Unit with coke handling and ship loading, Sour Water Stripper, Amine Recovery units and the revamping of Hydrocracker, Sulphur Recovery, and Utilities & Offsites units.
Report to the Construction Manager and will take responsibility for the coordination of Mechanical Construction activities through the Construction Mechanical Supervisor (MES), the Construction Machinery Supervisor (MCS), the Construction Equipment Supervisor (EQS) and Construction Piping Supervisor (PIS).
Duties and responsibilities
- direct responsibility on management of Mechanical Subcontractor(s).
- ensure that their performances are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality and cost, and he will coordinate all necessary recovery actions whenever detect deviation from schedule or specifications under the guidance of Construction manager.
- ensure the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities;
- participate to the HSE activities at site as defined for his position in the Site HSE plan and related procedures.
