Development of Simulators and Tools used in the context of ERTMS.

Those are used by the several programs including V&V teams and the projects. The simulators are a set of software modules interfacing the EVC and simulating the behavior of the components around it in order to validate its behavior.

·         Good (+READING) written communication skills in English. Knowledge of French would of course be an asset.

·         Master degree in engineering (software, electronics, industrial engineer,…)

·         One or several experiences in both the following technologies: C++ (ideally C++98 but not mandatory), Python

·         Behavioral competencies

o    Capacity to quickly understand complex systems

o    Team spirit and proactivity

o    Communication skills, ease to interface with people from the team and the stakeholders

o    Curious, rigorous, responsible and reliable

o    Customer orientated

Additional assets:

·         Domain knowledge: good knowledge of the ERTMS solution is an asset

·         A good knowledge of network communication protocols & the IT networks

·         Background in Test & Integration activities is an asset.

·         Knowledge of at least one versioning system (ideally Git or Gitlab)

·         Knowledge of UTest is an asset

·         Engineering background: reading graphs, SI units, kinematics…
