Main Responsibilities:

●        Lead layout reviews with internal and external teams

●        Monitor layout progress and change management

●        Work with electrical engineers to design circuit boards assemblies including MCU, SOC, high voltage, high power, HDI, and high-speed, etc.

●        Design printed circuit boards that meet design for manufacture

●        Work with mechanical engineers on mechanical-electrical packaging

●        Support quick-turn board builds with PCBA contract manufacturers

●        Release technical documents (BOM, design procedures, design for manufacture, etc.)

●        Release the layout drawings to the various teams and coordinates their layout activities by ensuring compliance with the layout rules

Profile

Basic Qualifications:

●        Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university

●        Experience in layout of high speed PCBs

●        Experience in routing DDR3/4 memory interface, PCIe, etc.

●        Experience with constraints-driven PCB layout methodology

●        Experienced with schematic capture tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, Cadence Concept, or Mentor, etc.

●        Experienced in Mentor Hyperlynx for Signal Integrity & Power Integrity tools, or similar

●        Excellent ability to work in a team and within a complex global organization

●        Solid oral and written communication skills.

●        Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments
 
Preferred Qualifications

●        Experience in routing DDR5 memory interface

●        Detailed understanding of high speed digital PCB routing constraints, multilayer PCB construction

●        Experience with BGA pitch of equal or less than 0.5mm

●        Experience managing 3rd party layout services

●        Ability to collaborate with cross functional technical teams

●        Ability to participate in schematic and design reviews
