The main responsibilities are:

• Develop comprehensive documentation of diagnostic symptoms that meets the client’s organizational standards
• Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
• Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
• Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
• Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
• Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage
• Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation
• Preparation of OBD certification documentation and smaller tasks connected to this main activity.
• Negotiations with other functions within the company
• Certification documentation creation and project coordination of OBD projects for multiple OEMs

The perfect candidate has:

• Fluent English and German skills
• Degree in vehicle engineering or vehicle technician degree, or a completed comparable engineering degree
• At least 3 years of working experience in engineering area or in technical writing
• Experience in handling INCA, scan tools such as DiagRA
• Basic knowledge in embedded SW systems (SW-HW monitorings, architecture of such a system)
• MS Office knowledge at intermediate level (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Advantage:

• OBD-II related SW knowledge and/or documentation experience

Location: Mainly remote , with willingness to travel to Germany
