The responsibilities of the Connected Vehicle Architect include owning the design, development and integration of onboard applications for collecting and sharing vehicle information with the cloud.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 12 years of programming experience in a professional environment
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Android Auto or Linux Auto
• Minimum of 5 years of experience of Vehicle onboard application architecture, developing and integrating automotive applications with the onboard IVI architecture.
• Excellent Understanding of QNX/Linux Kernel, Vehicle Abstraction layers.
• Good understanding of in vehicle communication architectures like CAN and Ethernet.
• Proficiency in Core Java/C++, Android using OOPS concept.
• Should understand the radio architecture well enough.       
• Experience in developing Automotive HMI application on Linux/QNX kernel architecture using unity or similar framework.
• Understanding of Software driven architecture
