"2x Cloud QA Engineer
Mission You will be working in a team of talented engineers that are versed in Cloud technologies, SaaS architecture and Agile methodology. You will play an essential role as part of the engineering team, who will develop computer vision applications involving microservices both at the edge and in the cloud. Your ability to learn extremely fast and rapidly build skills in cutting-edge technologies is essential. You will bring your experience to build the Edgeway Test automation infrastructure that is absolutely mission critical and informs tactical decisions every day. This QA automation position mixes quality (user experience, automation coverage, feature readiness), engineering (test development, debugging) and DevOps (continuous integration, infrastructure work), and has an immediate impact on the quality of the service that is delivered to our customers making use of Edgeway as their trusted and reliable computer vision platform.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Develop, improve, and maintain automated tests in collaboration with Full-Stack Engineers and DevOps Engineers
- Responsible for keeping the automation infrastructure up and running for the needs of the engineering team
- Responsible day to day for investigating test failures and tracking fixes, whether they be infrastructure related or software regressions
- In charge of assessing the test automation coverage, raising risk and blind spots to management, and adding tests where missing, or working with other specialists or teams to add tests
- Provide periodic assessments on readiness for new features
- Review technical requirements for new software and develop quality strategies accordingly
- Analyze the impact of new solutions and run appropriate regression testing

Profile

Main Experience Required
- 5+ years experience as a QA Engineer or equivalent role
- Experience with software testing framework tools including Selenium
- Experience with programming languages including Java, JavaScript, and Python
- Experience creating application stress tests
- Competency in a variety of DevOps tooling including source code management tools, CICD tools, automation and configuration management tools
- Ability to quickly surround and learn new technology
- Have experience working according to Agile methodology
- Have experience with Azure cloud technologies
- Understanding of containers, deployment systems, and container management platforms, typically Kubernetes.
