Project Engineer

Role:
The Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IM SC) is recruiting for a Project Engineer at Site Beerse. The Engineer will report to the Engineering Design & Project Delivery Lead.
The Project Engineer will scope and lead engineering projects in the pharmaceutical manufacturing area (drug product), with a primary focus on the aseptic compounding & filling area. Examples of projects include the procurement of isolators, compounding & filling equipment, and/or supporting equipment in the parenteral drug production process (e.g., parts washer, autoclave, PUPSIT filter testers, CCIT testing equipment, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Lead engineering projects, including defining priorities, gaining agreement on project scope, and ensuring the availability of resources, capabilities, and processes.Establish alignment with the project sponsor and core/extended teams to deliver final project objectives.Prepare project intake: scoping, business case analysis, alternative assessments, and presenting selected options and alternatives for approval.Facilitate project planning, tracking, and reporting against key deliverables and objectives.Apply standard project management methodologies to ensure flawless project execution.Oversee project finances by securing accurate budget allocation and managing expenses during project implementation and aftercare.Manage all project engineering activities, from early conceptual design to construction and qualification, including overseeing internal resources and third-party contractors and suppliers.Use risk management methodologies to identify and mitigate risks to project objectives.Ensure sound technical engineering principles are applied across all tasks.Provide progress updates to key stakeholders, including the project sponsor, engineering lead, operations, and quality departments.Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) standards.
