Job Title: Launch Support Engineer
Location: Crewe, United Kingdom (Onsite)



Responsibilities:


Support is required to cover the production phases of all customer vehicles, the load rate for these is approximately 1 per month.
Professional services to achieve the below deliverables.
Provide progress/status reports in line with project timings
Creation and maintenance of Daily build plans, respecting the high-level customer delivery plan.
To Liaise and interface with all elements of the project delivery team to support the build of the Customer vehicles, these areas including, project management, Operations, Workshop, and Various Engineering departments, - (This list is not exhaustive)
Build documentation into relevant Bentleys systems to provide traceability of the build process of the vehicles, inclusive of History books and Control plans
Agreeing on the build process for all affected componentry with all stakeholders internally and externally
Ensuring that build feasibility is agreed with respect to the above
Build-related problem resolution where required when vehicles are in assembly
Provide progress/status reports in line with project timings using standard client formats where applicable



Experience


BiW, Body Sealing, Exterior/Body Hardware and Dynamic Sealing Systems, Teamcenter PLM
Build Support experience

La risorsa verrà inserita all'interno di un team e si occuperà di:
Garantire la sicurezza e la qualità del lavoro, occupandosi di pianificazione e di budget;
Gestire e coordinare i Subcontractor;

La risorsa ha maturato almeno 5 anni di esperienza nel ruolo. Sono richieste buona capacità di problem solving e di team working, autonomia nell’organizzazione delle task assegnate ed orientamento al risultato.

Mechanical Inspector



 La risorsa, inserita all’interno del Team di un’importante azienda multinazionale operante nel settore Oil&amp;Gas, si occuperà delle seguenti attività:
Garantire l'implementazione di tutte le procedure e gli standard Qualità/HSE per le aree o le attività (subappaltatori) di competenza, insieme agli altri membri dei team Qualità/HSE;
Supportare il Construction Material Controller nel controllo dei materiali del fornitore prima dell'inizio dei lavori;
Occuparsi delle attività dei subappaltatori per la propria disciplina, assicurando che i lavori di costruzione dell'impianto siano eseguiti in conformità alle specifiche tecniche applicabili, alle procedure del sito e al piano di ispezione del sito in conformità alle procedure di qualità e sicurezza, nonché ai termini e alle condizioni del contratto di subappalto.
Verificare che la manodopera impiegata dal subappaltatore rispetti costantemente i requisiti delle procedure applicabili e il livello di qualità stabilito dallo stesso.
Verificare che le attrezzature impiegate dal Subappaltatore siano adeguate e calibrate come richiesto in base alle procedure applicabili e al livello di qualità fissato dallo stesso.
Verificare che i lavori eseguiti dal subappaltatore siano conformi ai documenti applicabili, alle norme di sicurezza e al livello di qualità stabilito dallo stesso, in coordinamento con gli altri membri del team Qualità/HSE;
Informare l'ingegnere di cantiere affinché apporti le modifiche necessarie quando rileva eventuali errori di progettazione;
Promuovere il progetto di non conformità e informare il Construction Manager, supportandolo nella risoluzione della non conformità;
Tenere informato il Construction Manager, ricevere la richiesta di ispezione dai subappaltatori e confermare di procedere con l'ispezione informando il Cliente&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Il candidato ideale possiede un Diploma Tecnico o cultura equivalente e ha maturato almeno 5 anni di esperienza in ruoli similari. Sono richieste buona capacità di problem solving e di team working, autonomia nell’organizzazione delle task assegnate ed orientamento al risultato.
 
 


Requisiti
 
  
 Sono richieste le seguenti competenze:

Diploma tecnico;
esperienza pregressa in ambito qualità Oil&amp;Gas con preferenza in centrali di stoccaggio GAS
conoscenza degli aspetti di qualità e verifiche documentali
buone competenze in ambito informatico
esperienza in normative CEI

Planning Engineer


We’re talking about the expansion (new production units as well as the upgrading of some already existing ones) of a refinery for a new Delayed Coking Unit with coke handling and ship loading, Sour Water Stripper, Amine Recovery units and the revamping of Hydrocracker, Sulphur Recovery, and Utilities &amp; Offsites units.

Planning Engineer will perform all the activities pertaining to the planning / reporting within a Project (or part thereof) of any size and complexity, under the supervision of the Project Control Manager and the Planning Senior Engineer, in full compliance with their indications and the Contract, the Company’s quality requirements and Project Execution Plan, WBS and Schedules. To be accountable for the correct implementation/update of the Project Schedule for the assigned portion according to the received indication /assignments and the aforementioned requirements.


Duties and responsibilities

Preparation of all field project planning activities in accordance with the Company’s procedures under the guidance of Senior Planning Engineer, if present;
To closely work with Construction Sub-contractor during the development of their Contract Level 3 &amp; 4 Schedules and manpower histograms to ensure compliance with all Project Milestones, critical interfaces and adherence to the Project Control Procedures under the guidance of Senior Planning Engineer;
Check the feasibility of construction schedules with the scheduled deliveries of documentation, materials and updated information received from Home Office under the guidance of Senior Planning Engineer;
Constantly monitoring the performance of Subcontractors in terms of efficiency, progress and resources under the guidance of Senior Planning Engineer.
Provide feedback to the responsible of Planning about problems/deviations arising from application of standard methods and work instructions and tools;
Keep himself/herself up to date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Report to the Construction Manager and will take responsibility for the coordination of Mechanical Construction activities through the Construction Mechanical Supervisor (MES), the Construction Machinery Supervisor (MCS), the Construction Equipment Supervisor (EQS) and Construction Piping Supervisor (PIS).
 

Duties and responsibilities

direct responsibility on management of Mechanical Subcontractor(s).
ensure that their performances are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality and cost, and he will coordinate all necessary recovery actions whenever detect deviation from schedule or specifications under the guidance of Construction manager.
ensure the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities;

Construction Quality Control Inspector

Quality Control Inspector ensures the implementation of all the quality procedures and standards in the appointed area /subcontractor. He/she is responsible for performing inspections on subcontractor’s activities assuring the conformity to site inspection plans and applicable engineering.


Duties and responsibilities
 To ensure the implementation of all the Quality/HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities, together with the other members of Quality/HSE teams;
To support the Construction Material Controller in checking the Supplier’s material prior to the start of works;
To address Subcontractor activities for his/her own discipline, ensuring that Plant Construction works are performed according to the applicable engineering specification, site procedures and Site Inspection Plan according to Quality &amp; Safety procedures, as well as according to the terms and conditions of the subcontract
To check that the manpower employed by the Subcontractor continuously respect the requirements of applicable procedures and the Quality level fixed by the same.
To check that the equipment employed by the Subcontractor are adequate and calibrated as required according to applicable procedures and to the Quality level fixed by the same
To inform the Site Engineer to make the necessary changes when detects any design errors;
Keeping the Construction Quality Manager informed, receive the Request of Inspection from Subcontractors and confirm to proceed with the inspection informing the Client, assume the responsibility in case of Client’s (motivated) rejection of the inspection taking care of remedial action.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Commissioning Mechanical &amp; Machinery Coordinator executes the activities pertaining to the pre-commissioning and commissioning of the unit in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations, and following the stated procedures.
 
Duties and responsibilities
To develop the detailed pre-commissioning procedures for Machinery &amp; Packages, procedures for the functional tests of the machineries according to the instructions of Commissioning Machinery Superintendent.
To field check the DAC and prepare relevant Commissioning punch list, following the CME instructions.
Expediting closing of pending Punch List Items in accordance with Commissioning Superintendent (COT) priorities; Monitor and ensure the activities are carried out in accordance with the procedures and requirements.
Supervise the works of vendors’ specialists and ensure their efficient utilization.
 Support the Vendors specialists in the execution of the job and coordinate their actions with the Commissioning supervisors.

The Commissioning Supervisor, COS, executes the activities pertaining to the commissioning of an entire unit of the Plant. Operates in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
 
Duties and responsibilities

Lead and insist on strict adherence to Lock Out / Tag Out Procedures (LOTO), and policies;
Assist in the development of scoped packages for identified pre-commissioning activities, based on commissioning requirements and available systems;
Assist with coordination and management of system walk downs with particular regard to deficiencies and punch list prioritization;
Perform construction process assessments during system walk-downs and identify exceptions and deficiencies;
Perform commissioning and testing of individual components, systems, and the station as a complete integrated unit to meet all contractual obligations. Ensure that all QC activities (type and extension) are executed in due time according to relevant Site Work Instruction and applicable codes and specifications;
Prepare, issue to the Subcontractor, and file Construction and Final Punch Lists, and follow up the completion of relevant outstanding works;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Develop the detailed commissioning procedures for Instrument Items &amp; Packages and procedures for the functional tests of the Instrument Items.
Check and prepare relevant Commissioning punch list.
Coordinate the activities of the Instrumental specialist.
Monitor and ensure the activities are carried out following the procedures and requirements.
Ensure all safety rules are followed in the field.

The Automation Supervisor is in charge of the activities pertaining to Automation by means of the Specialists acting under their responsibility, in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.

Duties and responsibilities:
Coordinate the activities of the automation specialist.
To field check the DAC and prepare relevant Commissioning punch list, following the CME instructions.
Review the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for all installations under his responsibilities (field instrumentation, plant control systems, fire and gas units, on line analysers).
Develop new or review the existing inspection forms for the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities pertaining to Instrumentation activities.
Monitor and ensure the activities are carried out as per schedule and in accordance with the procedures and requirements.
Coordinate with other disciplines like process, machinery, electrical for the smooth completion of the activities.
Ensure all safety rules are in force and are followed in field.

Functional Safety Engineer

Responsibilities
Development of safety-relevant vehicle functions in accordance with ISO26262:2011
Generation, usage and assessment of safety analyses, e.g. FMEA, FTA and H&amp;R methodology
Create Impact analysis using the correct template.
Attend regular meetings with interal stakeholders
Create and complete the HARA template for the function
Perform a PreFilter and HAZOP analysis of the functions.
Review HARA document with the function team.


Experienced Required
 Development of safety-relevant vehicle functions in accordance with ISO26262:2011
Generation, usage and assessment of safety analyses, e.g. FMEA, FTA and H&amp;R methodology
Safety-relevant hardware designs and assessments
Usage in the development phase of methods/measures of software tools
Electronics and circuit technology of control units in the – Drivetrain, chassis and body control domains
Usage requirements management using SharePoint or DOORS.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Hardware Engineering Manager
Crawley - hybrid working (3 days on-site per week)
 
Akkodis are looking out for an experienced Hardware Engineer to join and support Thales in Crawley, joining the Underwater Systems (UWS) sector and contribute to different products in the integration of hardware and system architecture.
 
The Hardware Engineering Manager (HwEM) is responsible for the completion of a set of engineering tasks within the committed cost, schedule, performance and quality. The related tasks may cover part or all the range of activities regarding customer needs, mission, function, architectural design, and life cycle of the hardware solution (requirements and specialty engineering, design, development, integration and verification)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Responsibilities:
To include, but not be limited to:
Defines the Hardware development cycle in consistency with that of upper/same level elements (dependencies, co-engineering activities).
Tailors the Hardware engineering environment (process, practices and tools) according to Company and Project requirements.
Allocates responsibilities to individual contributors
Participates in the specification of the functions and interfaces of products to be developed.
Participates in the definition of the architecture, and the allocation of functions, to the components for which they have primary responsibility.
Skills:
Experience within Systems, Hardware or Electronics Engineering within a highly regulated environment, working with multi-discipline teams of engineers
Experience of technical leadership of either small teams or programmes of work
Project or Programme delivery experience/knowledge would be desirable
Engineering Lifecycle experience, ideally Chorus2 DDQS (Design, Develop, Qualify the Solution) but experience with alternative methodologies/tools is required
Desirable experience with Project tracking, ideally Jira but other agile management tools would be desirable although not essential
Experience Required:
Proven project or work package delivery experience
Understanding of Engineering principles (Ideally Hardware)
Leadership
Project Tracking and resource management
Budget/Financial awareness
Naval/Maritime background&lt;br /&gt;

Chassis Integration Engineer
 
THE ROLE

Scope of the role

As part of the Akkodis Automotive team, you will be involved with calibration, and validation within Chassis Integration. The position will give you exposure to a variety of different components and functions implemented into our customer's vehicle program giving you an ideal foundation to further your knowledge in vehicle development.


Responsibilities
Responsible for Chassis electronics integration and release of SW within the group systems.
Responsible for the chassis control unit and active anti-roll bar module for the SUV line.
Using OEM tools such as IDEX, CPtool, ODIS to retrieve data, flash modules, and calibration routines, and uploading engineering SW for functional safety and function tests.
Responsible for taking part in test trips and activities, track injecting faults with Vector Canape, and problem-solving in the workshop area with hands-on work with the vehicle.
Attending meetings with the audit team to pass through SW release
Component releases with presenting information to senior stakeholders for signing off
Generating SW files from the System42 database to prepare for testing and presenting it the change control board for release into production.
Production issue resolved immediately with control permits
DFMEA reviews for functions responsible  

Experienced Required
Knowledge of vehicle communications networks and diagnostic protocols.
Knowledge and experience of the latest vehicle electronic systems.
Conversant with electronic hardware and software design processes.
Use of diagnostic tools such as CANoe and CANape.
Demonstrated experience working for an automotive manufacturer or
relevant supplier preferable.
Appreciation of sensor technologies, the methods of interfacing to such
components, and how Experienced in project management for electrical
functions/components&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
