Job Title: Launch Support Engineer

Responsibilities:


Support is required to cover the production phases of all customer vehicles, the load rate for these is approximately 1 per month.
Professional services to achieve the below deliverables.
Provide progress/status reports in line with project timings
Creation and maintenance of Daily build plans, respecting the high-level customer delivery plan.
To Liaise and interface with all elements of the project delivery team to support the build of the Customer vehicles, these areas including, project management, Operations, Workshop, and Various Engineering departments, - (This list is not exhaustive)
Build documentation into relevant Bentleys systems to provide traceability of the build process of the vehicles, inclusive of History books and Control plans
Agreeing on the build process for all affected componentry with all stakeholders internally and externally
Ensuring that build feasibility is agreed with respect to the above
Build-related problem resolution where required when vehicles are in assembly
Provide progress/status reports in line with project timings using standard client formats where applicable

La risorsa verrà inserita all’interno di un team di un’importante azienda multinazionale nel settore dell’Oil &amp; Gas e si occuperà di pianificare, eseguire e monitorare le attività della sede centrale relative al pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up, test run al fine della consegna dell’impianto in base ai requisiti HSE e contrattuali. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Il/la candidato/a ideale ha una laurea in Ingegneria Chimica o titoli equivalenti ed ha maturato almeno 5 anni di esperienza nel ruolo. Sono richieste buona capacità di problem solving e di team working, autonomia nell’organizzazione delle task assegnate ed orientamento al risultato. E' inoltre richiesta la disponibilità alla mobilità geografica in ambito nazionale e internazionale.

What will your contribution be at Akkodis?
Within our Energy division you will be involved in a project related to the Oil &amp; Gas sector.
The resource will support the project and will be required to carry out the following activities:
Report to the Topside Commissioning Manager and support the execution of commissioning for the assigned Topside systems.
Lead field activities for pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, test runs, and handover of FPSO Topside Units, adhering to safety, quality, time, and budget targets.
Manage safe and efficient commissioning, start-up, and performance testing, with strict HSE compliance.
Coordinate a multidisciplinary team (control room operators, discipline supervisors, foremen, technicians, vendor reps, Class inspectors, Client) to ensure readiness and execution.
Review project schedule, finalize P&amp;ID mark-ups, and prepare/secure Client approval of commissioning deliverables (Method Statements, OTPs, JSAs, Risk Assessments, etc.).
Develop and maintain three-month look-ahead schedules; ensure availability of tools, consumables, and spare parts; manage third-party inspectors as required.
Act as Process and Mechanical Isolation authority; manage Punch Point screening and closure; ensure proper traceability of modifications.
Support Ready-for-Commissioning dossiers and certificate review/acceptance; participate in PTW processes and shipyard HSE initiatives.
Interface with Construction, Field Engineering, Class/Certification inspectors, and Client to ensure smooth handovers and ongoing alignment.
Lead and develop site team competency; monitor performance and escalate issues as needed.

About you
Requirements to start your professional path:
Experience: Minimum 7 years in EPC Oil &amp; Gas execution (onshore/offshore), with at least one FPSO project from shipyard pre-commissioning through offshore commissioning, start-up, and performance testing as Commissioning Lead/Engineer within an EPC contractor.
Education: Technical diploma or Engineering bachelor’s degree.
Growth trajectory: Demonstrated progression from site commissioning supervisor to system owner in commissioning.
Travel/Location: Willingness to work across Paris, China Onshore, and Angola Offshore; comfortable with international travel and multi-cultural teams.
Skills: Strong leadership and team management, excellent planning and scheduling, robust QA/QC knowledge, effective communication, problem solving, and ability to manage interfaces with clients, vendors, and regulators.
Language: English required; French and/or Portuguese are advantageous.
Certifications: Relevant safety/HSE certifications and any client/class-specific qualifications are a plus.

What will your contribution be at Akkodis?
Within our Energy division you will be involved in a project related to the Oil &amp; Gas sector.
Topside Commissioning Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, testing and handover of FPSO Topside Process Units, coordinating head office 
Lead the Topside Commissioning Team for FPSO Process and Utilities systems (onboard, shipyard and offshore).
Define and implement the commissioning strategy, milestones and KPIs; review P&amp;IDs and operational procedures; ensure compliance with project and client requirements.
Manage pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, test runs and handover; ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; monitor schedule and budget.
Oversee procurement and installation of temporary systems; define and execute spare parts strategy; coordinate with engineering and procurement.
Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation &amp; control, mechanical and other disciplines; liaise with vendors and subcontractors.
Manage commissioning documentation, acceptance dossiers, LOTO, SIMOPS, QA/QC and certifications.
Supervise high-risk activities (HP leak tests, GTG start-ups, gas compressor tests) and ensure proper risk management.
Monitor progress with KPIs; adjust resources and schedules as needed; ensure asset preservation.
Interface with internal departments and external bodies (class society, client); lead handover with construction and commissioning teams.

Team and Schedule:
Define team structure, recruit and onboard Commissioning Engineers; monitor performance.
Contribute to the project schedule; plan vendor support and mobilization; maintain dashboards for completions and KPI tracking.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
About you
Requirements to start your professional path:
Minimum 10 years of experience in EPC for onshore/offshore Oil &amp; Gas.
Proven track record on at least one FPSO project as Commissioning
Manager and/or Superintendent within an EPC contractor.
Engineering bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred; technical diploma acceptable.
Demonstrated growth from field commissioning to leadership roles (Commissioning Lead/Superintendent/Manager).

The resource will support the project and will be required to carry out the following activities:
Verify the documents certifying the tests, checks, and inspections performed and their orderly collection and management, including mechanical completion.
Verify the implementation of the notification process for inspections, checks, and tests.

The Hardware Engineering Manager (HwEM) is responsible for the completion of a set of engineering tasks within the committed cost, schedule, performance and quality. The related tasks may cover part or all the range of activities regarding customer needs, mission, function, architectural design, and life cycle of the hardware solution (requirements and specialty engineering, design, development, integration and verification)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Responsibilities:
To include, but not be limited to:
Defines the Hardware development cycle in consistency with that of upper/same level elements (dependencies, co-engineering activities).
Tailors the Hardware engineering environment (process, practices and tools) according to Company and Project requirements.
Allocates responsibilities to individual contributors
Participates in the specification of the functions and interfaces of products to be developed.
Participates in the definition of the architecture, and the allocation of functions, to the components for which they have primary responsibility.

Skills:
Experience within Systems, Hardware or Electronics Engineering within a highly regulated environment, working with multi-discipline teams of engineers
Experience of technical leadership of either small teams or programmes of work
Project or Programme delivery experience/knowledge would be desirable
Engineering Lifecycle experience, ideally Chorus2 DDQS (Design, Develop, Qualify the Solution) but experience with alternative methodologies/tools is required

Produce programme gateway work products related to connected cars, including feature definitions, project risks, validation test plans, project timing and costs.
Ensure the connected car eco-system is compliant with the applicable global legislation, safety requirements and the highest standards of cyber security and data privacy.
Coordinate connected car supplier activities, including cloud-based infrastructure, mobile connectivity, cyber security, data services and IoT applications focused on the customer experience and internal value.

Functional Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

Akkodis are looking out for an experienced Hardware Engineer to join and support Thales in Crawley, joining the Underwater Systems (UWS) sector and contribute to different products in the integration of hardware and system architecture.
 
The Hardware Engineering Manager (HwEM) is responsible for the completion of a set of engineering tasks within the committed cost, schedule, performance and quality. The related tasks may cover part or all the range of activities regarding customer needs, mission, function, architectural design, and life cycle of the hardware solution (requirements and specialty engineering, design, development, integration and verification)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Responsibilities:
To include, but not be limited to:
Defines the Hardware development cycle in consistency with that of upper/same level elements (dependencies, co-engineering activities).
Tailors the Hardware engineering environment (process, practices and tools) according to Company and Project requirements.
Allocates responsibilities to individual contributors
Participates in the specification of the functions and interfaces of products to be developed.
Participates in the definition of the architecture, and the allocation of functions, to the components for which they have primary responsibility.
Skills:
Experience within Systems, Hardware or Electronics Engineering within a highly regulated environment, working with multi-discipline teams of engineers
Experience of technical leadership of either small teams or programmes of work
Project or Programme delivery experience/knowledge would be desirable
Engineering Lifecycle experience, ideally Chorus2 DDQS (Design, Develop, Qualify the Solution) but experience with alternative methodologies/tools is required
Desirable experience with Project tracking, ideally Jira but other agile management tools would be desirable although not essential
Experience Required:

Chassis Integration Engineer
 
THE ROLE

Scope of the role

As part of the Akkodis Automotive team, you will be involved with calibration, and validation within Chassis Integration. The position will give you exposure to a variety of different components and functions implemented into our customer's vehicle program giving you an ideal foundation to further your knowledge in vehicle development.


Responsibilities
Responsible for Chassis electronics integration and release of SW within the group systems.
Responsible for the chassis control unit and active anti-roll bar module for the SUV line.
Using OEM tools such as IDEX, CPtool, ODIS to retrieve data, flash modules, and calibration routines, and uploading engineering SW for functional safety and function tests.
Responsible for taking part in test trips and activities, track injecting faults with Vector Canape, and problem-solving in the workshop area with hands-on work with the vehicle.
Attending meetings with the audit team to pass through SW release
Component releases with presenting information to senior stakeholders for signing off
Generating SW files from the System42 database to prepare for testing and presenting it the change control board for release into production.
Production issue resolved immediately with control permits
DFMEA reviews for functions responsible  

Experienced Required
Knowledge of vehicle communications networks and diagnostic protocols.
Knowledge and experience of the latest vehicle electronic systems.
Conversant with electronic hardware and software design processes.
Use of diagnostic tools such as CANoe and CANape.
Demonstrated experience working for an automotive manufacturer or
relevant supplier preferable.
Appreciation of sensor technologies, the methods of interfacing to such
components, and how Experienced in project management for electrical
functions/components&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
